Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see nearby stations?

The app needs location permission to show stops near you. Enable location access in your device Settings → Next Bus → Location (While Using the App). If you've just opened the app, wait a few seconds for the map to load.

Why are arrival times missing or "—"?

Arrival data comes from KMB and Citybus. Sometimes a stop or route has no live data, or the service is not in operation. Try pulling to refresh or check again later.

The app is slow or stuck on first launch

On first install, the app downloads and stores bus stop and route data. This can take a short while. Make sure you have a stable connection. If it fails, use "Try Again" on the splash screen.

How do I change language?

Open the Settings tab (bottom right), then choose 中文 or English under Preferred language.

My favourite stations disappeared

Favourites are stored on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data will remove them. Re-add stations from Search or the Schedule screen by tapping the star.
